Around the year 2019 I realized I wanted to write another solo album under my own name. It really took until 2020 to put preliminary sonic ideas into place.

As the album's music took hold, I came to the epiphany that I needed to write the lyrics about EverymanHYBRID. I approached Jeffrey Koval, one of EMH's creators, on social media and, as fate would have it, he gave me permission to write about the series.

I wanted the album to capture, both lyrically and in sound, what I saw the characters experience throughout the series. Fans of EverymanHYBRID will recognize the themes in the song titles and the lyrics. Even in the tracks that have no vocals, I hoped to convey a journey, from the start to the end, through the eyes of the Mining Town Four.

I can only hope that this record shows my love and respect for EMH. To the creators, thank you. Of course, to the listener as well, I also say thank you. Thank you all for giving me a chance.

(I would like to dedicate this album to the memory of Eddie Van Halen who passed away during its recording. I wouldn't be the musician I am today without Eddie's influence. Every guitar part was recorded on an EVH Wolfgang Standard in his honor.)
